Marketplace Buyer Terms
Effective date: 20 August 2026 · Version: 2026.08.20
These Buyer Terms supplement the Terms of Use for accounts that source goods or services through Hospiverse.
1. Business Eligibility
You must act for a legitimate business or professional procurement purpose, be at least 18 and have authority to submit RFQs and communicate on behalf of the named organisation.
2. Genuine RFQs
An RFQ must describe a genuine requirement and include reasonably accurate product/service, quantity, delivery city and timing information. Do not submit RFQs to collect market intelligence, harvest supplier data, create false competition or solicit unrelated marketing.
An RFQ is not a purchase order and does not bind a supplier or Hospiverse.
3. Third-Party Supplier Transactions
For a third-party listing:
- the identified supplier is the legal seller;
- the supplier makes the quotation and sets its validity and commercial terms;
- you contract and pay the supplier directly;
- the supplier issues the invoice and handles tax, delivery, title, return, warranty and recall; and
- Hospiverse does not collect the product price or become a party to the sale.
Do not send a third-party supplier's product payment to Hospiverse or to a payment link not verified as belonging to that supplier.
4. Hospiverse-Owned Products
Where the page and checkout state "Sold by HOSPIVERSE INNOVATIONS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED," Hospiverse is the seller. The Hospiverse Product Sales Policy and order confirmation apply. Do not infer that Hospiverse is seller merely because it hosts a listing or provides an RM.
5. Buyer Due Diligence
Before accepting a supplier quotation, verify as appropriate:
- legal name and address;
- GST status and invoice capability;
- FSSAI status for food;
- manufacturer/importer and country of origin;
- authority to sell the brand;
- model, specifications and certification;
- stock, delivery, installation and acceptance testing;
- warranty and service network;
- return, recall and dispute terms; and
- bank-account ownership.
A Hospiverse badge is an evidence check described in the Verification Standards, not a guarantee.
6. Quotes and Comparison
Prices may exclude or include tax, freight, installation or other items as stated by the supplier. Compare the total commercial package and request clarification. Hospiverse may format or display quotations side by side but does not approve the price or select the winning supplier.
Claims about likely savings, response time or number of quotations are estimates unless a signed plan states a specific service commitment and remedy.
7. Food Products
Food listings are directory/referral listings. The food seller remains responsible for FSSAI compliance, label information, quality, safety, storage, delivery and recall. Payment and ordering must occur directly with the food seller. Report a suspect licence, expired food or safety issue immediately.
8. Consultants
A consultant is an independent professional. You must agree scope, fee, qualifications, confidentiality, deliverables, intellectual property and liability directly with the consultant. Hospiverse does not endorse professional advice or guarantee an outcome.
9. Use of Supplier and Consultant Data
Use contact and quotation information only for the genuine enquiry and related relationship. Do not scrape, publish, resell or add contacts to marketing lists without lawful permission. Protect confidential quotations and documents.
10. Buyer Subscription
Buyer Basic, Growth and Enterprise plans are governed by the Plan Schedule and Subscription Policy. A higher plan increases Platform features; it does not guarantee a particular supplier response, price, saving or order outcome.
11. Disputes With Third Parties
Notify the supplier promptly and preserve quotation, purchase order, invoice, delivery and communication evidence. Hospiverse may facilitate communication or restrict a listing but is not obliged to adjudicate or pay a buyer-supplier claim. This does not prevent a complaint to the appropriate authority or forum.
12. Reviews
Reviews must be genuine, factual and proportionate. Disclose incentives. Do not use a review to extort a concession, reveal confidential information or make allegations known to be false.
13. Contact
Buyer grievances about the Platform may be submitted under the Grievance Policy to jigar.chanana@hospiverse.in.
